DECFr- <br />1988 <br />POD' 75 <br />equipment the more costly grinder comes with is not necessary for <br />the operation. <br />General Services Director Dean explained that we specified <br />that the machinery must be able to be loaded with a front end <br />loader, and the more costly equipment cannot be loaded that way <br />but must have special equipment to be loaded from the rear. <br />Commissioner Eggert asked Mr. Dean is really satisfied with <br />this piece of equipment, and he advised that he has talked to <br />three counties using it and all have been satisfied with the work <br />it does. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to know if the other two companies <br />make the smaller piece of equipment, and Mr. Dean stated that <br />they do not. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously awarded <br />Bid #89-32 for the Wood Waste Grinder to the low <br />bidder Fuel Harvesters Equipment, Inc.
