Heath eG4 <br />Code Enforcement Officer <br />DATE: November 1, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: Estate of Joseph DiPierro, <br />Deceased, Public Nuisance; <br />Assessment for abate <br />RE: CV -88-09-611 <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their <br />regular meeting of December 6, 1988. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />On June 28, 1988, code enforcement staff posted a Notice of Public <br />Nuisance, and sent a copy of the same to the Estate of Joseph <br />DiPierro, Deceased, whose sole heir is a minor male child, <br />Nicholas DiPierro, age 5, whose mailing address is in care of <br />Florence C. Sudbrock, Guardian, 1470 17th Street, S.W., Vero <br />Beach, Florida, concerning the accumulation of garbage, trash, <br />debris, junk unserviceable vehicles and vehicle , parts on the <br />property in Dixie Gardens Subdivision. The respondent was cited <br />for the accumulation of an unserviceable vehicle, discarded <br />building materials, household garbage, junk, trash, and debris, in <br />violation of Section 13-18(b)(1), Public Nuisance, of the County <br />Code of Laws.and Ordinances, which prohibits the accumulation of <br />said articles on any parcel of property within Indian River <br />County. <br />The junkyard violation was not remedied within the thirty (30) day <br />time period. Therefore, in accordance with Section 13-19(b), of <br />the County Code, County personnel (ie: Road and Bridge Division) <br />abated the nuisance, with costs to be assessed against the proper- <br />ty owner. <br />Section 13-21 of the County Code requires that the cost of abate- <br />ment for the accumulation of the unserviceable vehicle, vehicle <br />parts, household garbage, junk, trash, discarded building mate - <br />52 <br />
