WHEREAS, Section 13-21(c) of the County Public Nuisance <br />Ordinance provides that the assessment shall be due and payable <br />thirty (30) days after the mailing of a notice of assessment, <br />whereby if the owner fails to pay assessed costs within the <br />thirty (30) days, a certified copy of the assessment shall be <br />recorded in the official record books of the County, <br />constituting a lien against the property, subject to twelve <br />(12) percent per annum interest; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION- <br />ERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1) The foregoing recitals are adopted and ratified in their <br />entirety. <br />2) The costs of County abatement of the herein described <br />hazardous and dilapidated mobile home, accumulation of junk, <br />trash, and unserviceable vehicles and vehicle parts nui- <br />sance, totaling an amount of $3,012.18, is hereby assessed <br />against parcel number 25-33-39-00006-004000015.1, being <br />Indian River Farms Company Subdivision, PBS .2-25, West 40 <br />feet of the South 100 feet of the West 10 acres of the East <br />20 acres of Tract 4 (OR Book 498, PP 219), owned by Plummer <br />Strickland, whose last known address is Route #1, Box 41, <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32961. <br />3) The $3,012.18 assessment shall be due and payable to The <br />Board of County Commissioners thirty (30) days after the <br />mailing of a notice of assessment'to the landowners, after <br />which, if unpaid, a certified copy of the assessment shall <br />be recorded in the official record books of the County, <br />constituting a lien against the described property, subject <br />to twelve (12) percent per annum interest. <br />THIS RESOLUTION was moved for adoption by Commis- <br />sioner <br />Bowman. <br />-Eggert <br />seconded by Commissioner <br />and adopted on the 6th day of <br />December 1988, by the following vote: <br />Commissioner Scurlock <br />Commissioner Bowman. <br />Commissioner Bird <br />Commissioner Eggert <br />Commissioner Wheeler <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution <br />duly passed and"''a1dopted .this 6th , day of December ,• <br />1988. <br />Approved as to form <br />and egal uffi ncy <br />By <br />Sha'rofi Phillips B?
