Tuesday, January 10, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />January 10, 1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. <br />Wheeler, Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Don. C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB <br />Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Wheeler called the meeting to order, and Commis- <br />sioner Eggert led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Wheeler asked that the County grove fruit sales <br />contract be added as Item 10G 1. under Utilities. <br />Commissioner Scurlock wished to add a report on the Finance <br />Advisory Committee under his matters. <br />County Attorney Vitunac requested the addition of the <br />following: <br />11 C. Matters to be presented to Legislative Delegation <br />11 D. Memo re County victory in the Farber court case. <br />11 E. Rough draft of Ordinance for Sales Tax. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously approved the <br />addition of the above described items to the Agenda. <br />Kor 75 F.
