ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 89-10, advocating certain projects that would <br />be in the public interest to Indian River County to th0 <br />local Legislative Delegation; amended the proposed <br />language from request to urge; and added the statement <br />that the issues are not necessarily in order of highest <br />priority. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89- 10 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />BY ITS BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, TO THE <br />LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA, THROUGH <br />THE LOCAL LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION, ADVOCATING <br />CERTAIN PROJECTS WHICH WOULD BE IN THE PUBLIC <br />INTEREST OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is ably represented it <br />the Florida Legislature by Senator Tim Deratany, Hous, <br />Minority Leader Dale Patchett, and Representative Irl) <br />Bronson, who constitute the Legislative Delegation for <br />Indian River; and <br />WHEREAS, the Delegation has offered Indian River <br />County <br />County for which the State of Florida may have solutions; <br />and <br />an opportunity to discuss items which concern the <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has authorized its <br />Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, or alternate1 <br />Commissioner, to appear before the Delegation to present <br />these items of concern, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that thel <br />Board respectfully urges the Delegation to address at the <br />State level the concerns of Indian River County relating to, <br />the following issues, which are not necessarily in order of <br />highest priority: <br />37 <br />,JAN 1? 19 <br />BOOK 75 PAGE 6:37 <br />
