Additional library grants for operation and <br />construction of our two library buildings and programs. <br />4. Additional grants for art and culture so that <br />these types of programs can be continued and expanded. <br />5. Additional Department of Transportation funding <br />for state roads in Indian River County including the <br />possibility of local governments advancing construction <br />funds for future repayment by the DOT. <br />6.. The prohibition of State -mandated programs <br />without State -provided funding. <br />7. Additional State funding for the state prison <br />system and State contribution for the operation of local <br />jails. <br />8. Expedited construction of the replacement for the <br />Barber Bridge. <br />9. Expedited construction for the Twin Pairs project <br />in the City of Vero Beach. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner <br />Scurlock and the motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Bird , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote <br />was as follows: <br />Chairman Gary C.
