Tuesday, January 24, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Cham- <br />bers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, January <br />24, 1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. Wheeler, <br />Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; <br />Margaret C. Bowman; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present were <br />James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and Barbara <br />Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Wheeler called the meeting to order, and Attorne, <br />Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Wheeler requested the following additions to <br />today's Agenda: <br />JAN 241989 <br />1) <br />2) <br />Waddell to the Economic Development Council. <br />Presentation by Vero Beach Mayor Ken Macht of Resolution <br />89-06 expressing the City's support for the local option <br />one -cent sales tax. <br />As Item P on the Consent Agenda, the appointment of Gine <br />3) Public discussion regarding the Historical Society's <br />application to have Jungle Trail on the National <br />Register. <br />4) Report from the County Administrator on the coordination <br />of the Library and Courthouse projects. <br />5) Discussion re additional space for the County Health <br />Dept. <br />BOOK u t <br />
