Tuesday, February 7, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />February 7, 1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. <br />Wheeler, Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Don. C. Scurlock, Jr. Also <br />present were James T. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Peter LaBarre, Pastor Emeritus, Trinity Episcopal Church, <br />gave the invocation, and Commissioner Bowman led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Wheeler advised that the Administrator has asked <br />that an item discussing a date for a joint City/County meeting be <br />added to the Agenda under his matters as Item 8A. <br />The Chairman informed the Board Item 9B 2. (Bids - Power <br />Rescue Tool for Vero Lake Estates Fire Department) should be <br />pulled until next week's agenda and put under North County Fire. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition of a discussion <br />on the 14 Sales Tax referendum under his matters as 12E. <br />FEB 7 1989 <br />�pnu <br />
