<br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC NEARING
<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian
<br />River County hereby gives notice of a PUBLIC ,I
<br />HEARING to be held at 9:05 a.m. on February
<br />28, 1989, in the County Commission Chambers
<br />of the County Administration Building, located at
<br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida.
<br />The subject of the hearing is a Development of
<br />Regional Impact for the project to be known as
<br />Harbor Town Center mall. •
<br />General Location: Bound on the north by the
<br />North Relief Canal. on the south by 53rd Street,
<br />on the east by the River Club golf course, and
<br />on the west by U.S. erl; located on the existing
<br />"Whisper Lakes" golf course site.
<br />All documents pertaining to the development re-/
<br />"HARBOR TOWN CENTER"
<br />quest are filed in the Indian River County Plan-
<br />ning and Development Division, 2nd floor of the
<br />County Administration Building, located at 1840
<br />25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida Documents
<br />may be reviewed by members of the public dur-
<br />ing normal business hours.
<br />All members of the public are invited to attend
<br />and participate in the public hearing.. •
<br />This official public notice is hereby given by the
<br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
<br />County. Florida, that the Board intends to con-
<br />duct a public hearing pursuant to Chapter
<br />380.06(11) (a) (b) (c) (d) Florida Statutes and 9B-
<br />16.23 of the Florida Administrative Code, for the
<br />Development of,Regional Impact known as Har-
<br />bor Town Center, proposed to contain.:
<br />a 647,000 square foot retail regional
<br />mall; 100,000 square feet of retail devel-
<br />opments on "outparcels"; and 64 multi-
<br />family units. Said land situated in Sec-
<br />tion 14, Township 32 South, Range 39
<br />East, entirely within the unincorporated
<br />area of Indian River County.
<br />This notice is being published at least sixty (60)
<br />days in advance of the public hearing by the
<br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
<br />County, Florida. and is an addition to any re-
<br />quired public notice(s) of local public hearings
<br />to be conducted by the Board of County Com- .
<br />.. missioners pursuant to notice and public hearing ,
<br />`;; provisions of the Code of Law and Ordinances of
<br />:•:: Indian River County. Florida. where applicable.
<br />This notice is being provided to the Department
<br />of Community Affairs of the State of Florida; the
<br />Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council; St.
<br />Johns River Water Management District; Depart-
<br />• ment of Environmental Regulation; Department
<br />of Natural Resources; State of Florida Depart-
<br />ment is of Transportation; The City of Vero Beach;
<br />The Town of Indian River Shores; the City o1
<br />•- Sebastian. The Town 01 Orchid. The Town of
<br />Fellsmere; and the Counties of Brevard, and SL
<br />Lucte.
<br />If any person decides to appeal any decision
<br />made on the above matter, he/she will need a •
<br />record of the proceedings, and for such pur-
<br />poses, he/she may need to ensure Mat a verba-
<br />tim record of the proceedings is made, which in-
<br />cludes testimony and evidence upon which the
<br />appeal is based. The County does not provide or
<br />prepare such record.
