'88 5) T.C.R.P.C. notification to the County that all <br />questions and comments had been adequately ad- <br />dressed - known as a letter of sufficiency; <br />Dec. '88 6) T.C.R.P.C. public hearing on the project; approval <br />of a report and recommendation regarding the <br />regional impacts of the project; <br />Jan. '89 7) T.C.R.P.C. transmittal of its official report and <br />recommendations to the County. <br />- Local Government Review - <br />Jan. '89 1. [OPTIONAL] The Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />after reviewing T.C.R.P.C. and County staff recom- <br />mendations, makes a recommendation to the Board of <br />County Commissioners. Planning and Zoning Commis- <br />sion review of the DRI is concurrent with its <br />review of the necessary comprehensive plan amend- <br />ment and rezoning requests. <br />ACTION TAKEN: At its regular meeting of January <br />26, 1989, the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />unanimously voted to recommend that the Board of <br />County Commissioners adopt the D.O. as proposed and <br />with any modifications deemed necessary by staff. <br />Since the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, <br />in response to additional comments from County and <br />Regional Planning Council staff, and from the <br />developer, some D.O. conditions have have been <br />modified. The Planning and Zoning Commission, at <br />its January 26th meeting, also recommended approval <br />of thecomprehensive plan amendment and rezoning <br />that are being considered concurrently with the <br />D.O. <br />--Feb. '89 -2. The Board of County Commissioners: <br />a. considers the comprehensive plan amendment <br />and, if it so desires, transmits the request <br />to the State; <br />b. the Board considers the rezoning request and <br />withholds any "final" approval until the <br />comprehensive plan amendment is re -heard; <br />c. the Board approves the D.O. subject to final <br />approval of the comprehensive plan amendment <br />and the rezoning. <br />3. After receipt of comprehensive <br />the State, the Board, if it so <br />hensive plan amendment and the <br />becomes effective. <br />plan amendment comments from <br />desires, approves the compre- <br />rezoning.
