RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners: <br />1. Grant special exception approval of the used vehicle sales/ <br />u -haul rental facility subject to the condition that the <br />proposed six (6) easterly spaces be designated for use as <br />general parking only, prohibiting the use of these spaces for <br />parking/storing rental vehicles. <br />Commissioner Eggert asked if opaque screening would be <br />required between this and the multi -family residential on Indian <br />River Drive. <br />Stan Boling, Chief of Current Development, explained that <br />all this development is very close to U.S. #1 and there is <br />sufficient screening now between Indian River Drive and this <br />project. <br />Chairman Wheeler opened the Public Hearing, and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, he <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously granted <br />Ed Czarnecki's request for special exception approval <br />for a used vehicle sales/U-Haul rental facility, <br />subject to parking conditions as set out in the above <br />staff recommendation. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - DENNIS L.
