6 FACE 29 <br />FEB 2 8 1989 <br />BOOK <br />a. A County Commissioner who will serve as <br />Chairman of the Marine Advisory and Narrows Watershed Action <br />Committee. <br />b. A representative of a local environmental <br />organization, such as, but not limited to, the Audubon <br />Society, the Sierra Club, or the Florida Defenders of the <br />Environment. <br />c. A representative of commercial fishermen, <br />preferably a person affiliated with a commercial fishing <br />organization. <br />d. A representative of recreational fishermen, <br />preferably a person affiliated with a recreational fishing <br />organization. <br />e. A representative of recreational boaters, <br />preferably a person affiliated with a recreational boating <br />organization. <br />f. At least two persons not necessarily <br />affiliated with a.particular user -group of the Indian River <br />Lagoon, but who have expressed an interest in the objectives <br />stated herein. <br />g. One person from each governmental agency <br />having jurisdiction for land or water management within the <br />Narrows Watershed. <br />3. Members of the Marine Advisory and Narrows <br />Watershed Action Committee shall serve at the pleasure of <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County and <br />may be removed by a majority vote of the Board. Vacancies <br />in the Marine Advisory and Narrows Watershed Action <br />Committee membership shall be filled by a majority vote of <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Indian •River County. <br />Any member who misses more than three (3) meetings without <br />an excused absence may be dropped from the committee and <br />replaced upon recommendation of the chairman. <br />4. The Marine Advisory and Narrows Watershed <br />Action Committee shall have advisory powers only. The <br />74 <br />
