Marine Advisory and Narrows Watershed Action Committee shall <br />prepare and recommend policies and, where possible, specific <br />plans relating to: <br />a. Preservation and enhancement of <br />recreational uses in the Indian River Lagoon. <br />b. Protection and improvement of water quality <br />and marine habitat in the Indian River Lagoon. <br />c. Minimization of adverse impacts on the <br />Indian River Lagoon from all forms of pollution, <br />development, storm water run-off and over -fishing. <br />d. Utilization of the Indian River Lagoon and <br />its renewable resources in ways proven not to degrade water <br />quality, marine habitat, recreational utility and natural <br />beauty. <br />e. Intergovernmental coordination with respect <br />to surface and storm water management, storm water/fresh <br />water flow, wetlands protection, wetlands, seagrass and <br />flood plain management,and pollution loading. <br />f. Such recommendations shall be forwarded to <br />the Board of County Commissioners and the Marine Resources <br />Council of East Florida. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by <br />Commissioner Scurlock and seconded by Commissioner <br />Eggert , and, being put to a vote, the vote was as <br />follows: <br />Chairman Gary C.
