Commissioner Bowman did not believe the figures add up and <br />felt they should be reviewed. <br />OMB Director Baird informed the Board that he has asked the <br />Sheriff to send these requests to his office prior to putting <br />them on the agenda in the future. He left the room to check the <br />figures. <br />Commissioner Bowman continued to review the items which did <br />not total up and stressed that she found the memo confusing and <br />very poorly written. <br />Commissioner Bird suggested that we hold this item over <br />until Director Baird returns to the meeting, and it was agreed to <br />wait. <br />Later in the meeting Director Baird reported that he had <br />checked the figures, which do not add up, and he has called the <br />Sheriff's Department. He stated that he would prefer to hold <br />this item over until next week so that he can get it clarified <br />and then write a Budget Amendment. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) agreed <br />to table the Sheriff's request until the next meeting. <br />(This item was reconsidered just before the meeting ended.) <br />E.
