Commissioner Bowman pointed out that a mathematical error <br />was made in multiplying 592 linear feet by $7.28. The amount of <br />the bid should be $4,309.76 instead of $4,314.57, and the amount <br />to be transferred from the Operating funds should be $309.76 <br />instead of $314.57. <br />General Services Director Sonny Dean explained that these <br />were the contractor's figures, but the Commissioners felt very <br />strongly that someone should check the figures when they are <br />received. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously awarded <br />IRC Bid #89-46 to the single bidder Adron Fence in the <br />form of a fixed contract in the amount of $4,309.76, <br />and authorized the transfer of $309.76 from the <br />Operating funds to accommodate the deficit. <br />J.
