BAR 14 '1989 <br />BOOK 76 Pr u 3S8 <br />Director Pinto estimated that only about one third of the <br />residents in the unincorporated area of the county are having <br />their trash picked up at the present time. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously authorized <br />staff to negotiate the revisions to the scope of work, <br />limiting phase I to materials that are concrete, i.e. <br />aluminum, paper, glass, tires, infectious waste, etc., <br />and address the other waste materials in the second and <br />third phases when more concrete answers would be <br />available, and bring it back to the Board for final <br />approval. <br />RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO REQUIRED USE OF OPTIONAL ONE -CENT <br />SALES TAX REVENUE FOR SCHOOL BOARD USE <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 89-29 to the Governor and the Legislature <br />of the State of Florida in opposition to required use <br />of optional one -cent sales tax revenue for School Board <br />use. <br />38 <br />
