MAR 21 1989 <br />BOOK 76 PAGE 400 <br />ANALYSIS: <br />1. Utilities: The subject property is to be provided with water <br />by Indian River County and will utilize the existing Grove <br />Isle wastewater treatment plant for sewer service. <br />2. Public Works: A Land Development permit has been issued by <br />the Public Works department and the certified cost estimate <br />has been approved by the Public Works director. <br />3. Attorney's Office: The County Attorney's office has approved <br />the cash bond and the contract for construction of required <br />improvements subject to it being signed by the Chairman of <br />the Board of County Commissioners. <br />The final plat is also in conformance with the approved prelimi- <br />nary plat. Thus, all County requirements concerning final plat <br />approval have been addressed. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant <br />final plat approval to Garden Homes at Grove Isle Unit 2 Sub- <br />division, authorize the Chairman of the Board of County <br />Commissioners to sign a contract with the applicant committing the <br />applicant to completing the remaining required improvements, and <br />accept the cash bond guaranteeing the contract. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously granted Final <br />Plat Approval to Garden Homes, Grove Isle Unit 2, <br />authorized the Chairman to execute the Contract for <br />Construction of Required Improvements, and accepted <br />the cash bond. <br />COPY OF SAID CONTRACT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE <br />BOARD. <br />G.
