Tuesday, April 11, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />April 11, 1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. <br />Wheeler, Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB <br />Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Scurlock led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Wheeler asked that the Library Parking Agreement <br />with the First Baptist Church be added to the Agenda, and <br />Commissioner Bowman requested the addition of a discussion in <br />regard to inviting Okeechobee County to join the Tri -County <br />Council of Local Governments. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />the addition of the above described items to the <br />Agenda. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Commissioner Eggert requested that Item D be removed from <br />the Consent Agenda for discussion. <br />APR 111989 <br />BOOK. 7C Ft,;i .5�_ <br />
