BROOKS, MANAGER <br />SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />SUBJECT: RECYCLING AND EDUCATION GRANTS <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Florida Department of Environmental Regulation (DER) is <br />providing last minute 1988-1989 budget year grant funds to the <br />-Counties for the development and implementation of a Recycling and <br />Education Program. Application for these grant funds must be in the <br />DER office by May 19, 1989. <br />Individual applications for these funds may be submitted by the <br />Counties, and by those Cities having a population of 50,000 or more. <br />Cities with populations less than 50,000 cannot individually_ apply <br />54 <br />
