PINTO <br />DIRECTOR OF UTILITY VICES <br />SUBJECT: CRUMPLER WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />PREPARED AND STAFFED BY: JOHN FREDERICK LANG <br />ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIX <br />DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Crumplers, in order to build on their 80' x 125' lot, need <br />public water to build their home according to HRS regulations. This <br />will enable them to have a septic tank installed for the home on <br />their lot. <br />Attached is the agreement written by the Department to allow the <br />home to be'built and be served by public water. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The agreement delineates the need for an easement from the property <br />owner between the water main and the subject property and the <br />requirement to pay the future water main extension assessment. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissioners sign the proposed agreement so that the <br />Crumplers may receive County water and thus build their home. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, Commissioner Bowman being on <br />vacation, the Board unanimously (4-0) approved <br />an agreement with the Crumplers for extension <br />and installation of water services, thus enabling <br />them to build their home, and authorized the <br />Chairman's signature. <br />SAID AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD. <br />MAY 9 1989 3 boor, 76 <br />J <br />
