Peed, Kimley-Horn and Assoc. to Jim Davis <br />dated May 17, 1989 <br />DATE: May 17, 1989 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />A large commercial shopping center is currently under construc- <br />tion located on the East side of US 1 north of Oslo Road. In <br />reviewing the developer's traffic impact analysis for the shop- <br />ping center, signalization of the Old Dixie Highway/Oslo Road <br />intersection is required by the developer prior to a certificate <br />of occupancy being issued for the shopping center. <br />Staff has reviewed the County's approved 20 -year Road Improvement <br />Program for this section of Oslo road (as approved by the Trans- <br />portation Planning Committee and Board of County Commissioners) <br />and the County's Master Plan include a five lane widening project <br />for this link of Oslo Road. <br />The County staff is of the .opinion that the ultimate five lane <br />section of Oslo Road within this area should be implemented at <br />this time as a joint effort between the County and developer, <br />Deckinger Properties. The developer has $33,949.72 of un- <br />committed traffic impact fee funds attributable to the shopping <br />center project,.
