ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />approved Work Authorization #2 with Boyle Engineering <br />to update the water system maps, do analyses and update <br />the Master Plan as recommended by staff. <br />Date: May 3,1989 <br />Engineering Services Work Authorization <br />Work Authorization No.: 2 <br />County Project Identification: Updating of Water System Maps and Analyses of Water <br />System/ 1989 <br />Consultant: Boyle Engineering Corporation <br />1. Project Description <br />The engineering services that will be provided during the 1989 calendar year as part of this <br />project may consist of updating the Indian River County water system maps that were prepared <br />by Boyle Engineering Corporation as part of the water system master planning services, revis- <br />ing the water system computer model, analyses of the County's water system, and providing <br />advise to the County on matters relating to the water system and water system computer <br />model. <br />11. Scope of Services <br />I <br />The following services will be provided pursuant to the Professional Civil Engineering Master <br />Agreement between Indian River County and Boyle Engineering Corporation dated December <br />6,1988: <br />1. Revise water system maps based on data provided to Boyle by the County, and furnish <br />reproducible mylars of the revised maps to the County. <br />2. Revise water distribution system computer model based on data provided to Boyle by <br />the County. <br />3. Perform analyses of the County's water system, utilizing the water transmission system <br />computer model when appropriate, and present the results of the analyses to the <br />County in the form of a brief letter report. <br />4. Advise the County on matters related to the water system and the water transmission <br />system computer model. <br />5. Update water system master plan. <br />The above services will be provided by Boyle on an 'as needed' basis. The County's Utility <br />Services Director shall determine when such services are required, and shall so notify Boyle of <br />the services desired. Upon request, Boyle shall submit a letter to the Utility Services Director, <br />which shall describe the work tasks that Boyle understands the County desires the estimated <br />fee to complete such work tasks, and the time to complete the work tasks. The Utility Services <br />Director may authorize Boyle to proceed with such services by signing the letter in the space <br />provided, and returning it to Boyle. <br />MAY 2 a 1989 59 BooK .76 Fr�GL 941 <br />
