RESOLUTION NO. 89-60 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF JOINT <br />PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT WITH FDOT <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation, <br />District 4, has notified Indian River County that $25,000 of <br />grant funds is available to Indian River County for traffic <br />circulation studies; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County proposes to continue its <br />traffic circulation study activities to provide an acceptable <br />transition to urban county status; and <br />WHEREAS, the available funds will enhance the county's <br />traffic circulation planning capacity by providing the hardware <br />tools to use available transportation planning software; and <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation has <br />provided the county with a proposed joint participation agreement <br />providing the conditions for use of the grant funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, that: <br />1) The foregoing recitals are adopted and ratified in <br />their entirety. <br />2) The Board of County Commissioners authorizes the <br />chairman to dxecute the joint participation agreement <br />with the Florida Department of Transportation. <br />THIS RESOLUTION was moved for adoption by Commissioner <br />Eggert- , seconded by Commissioner Scurlock , <br />and adopted on the 13th day of June 1989, by the <br />following vote: <br />Commissioner Gary Wheeler Ayp <br />Commissioner Carolyn Eggert AyP <br />Commissioner Don C.
