Commissioner Scurlock pointed out that once that cost is <br />established, we have the ability to rethink our impact fees in <br />terms of the total capital costs within that zone. <br />Director Davis explained that there are 3 sources of funding <br />to build Phase III: 1) Zone 5 impact fees; 2) Local option gas <br />taxes; 3) $550,000, so far, from the DOT under the Local <br />Government Cooperative Assistance Program, <br />ORDINANCE NO. 89-18 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; ENLARGING THE <br />COMMERIAL NODE AT U.S. #1 AND THE NORTH RELIEF CANAL FROM 10 <br />ACRES TO 92 ACRES; AND PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 163 of the Florida Statues requires that <br />local governments prepare and adopt Comprehensive Plans; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has adopted a <br />Comprehensive Plan pursuant to Florida Statutes; and <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statues provide for the amendment of <br />Comprehensive Plans twice per,.calendar year; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency, has held public hearings and made <br />recommendations concerning these amendments; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held public <br />hearings at which parties in interest and citizens were allowed to <br />be heard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined <br />that these amendments are consistent with the general spirit and <br />intent of the County's Comprehensive Plan; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, and the <br />accompanying Land Use Map, be amended as follows: <br />r'"' � <br />JUL 11 198 22 MCI o � <br />L- <br />
