The County continues to stand behind <br />this agreement. <br />In addition, the Community College is requesting that the County <br />fund the cost of materials to extend the road (approx. $3,000), <br />and the College will fund labor and equipment. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The District has request that an agreement between the County and <br />the District be executed to formally establish the County's <br />intent to relocate Lundberg Road within the permitted alignment. <br />The County's Road and Bridge Division budget does not have a <br />surplus of $3000 to fund the cost of materials. <br />RECOM ENDATIONS <br />It is recommended that the Board Chairman and Clerk be authorized <br />to execute the attached Intergovernmental Agreement, and that the <br />Community college fund the complete cost of the extension. <br />Commissioner Scurlock stated that he was in favor of staff's <br />recommendation, except in regard to the $3,000. <br />Administrator Chandler believed we do have $3,000 in another <br />account that could cover that expense, and he would feel that <br />expense may be merited. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously authorized <br />the Chairman to execute the Intergovernmental Agree- <br />ment with the Indian River Farms Water Control District <br />and directed that the $3,000 for materials be funded <br />from whatever account is designated by the Administrator. <br />JUL 1E W89 33 <br />r-3 r�� <br />e�o� j r.,or:� <br />
