A G R E E M E N T <br />BETWEEN <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AND <br />THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY LAW LIBRARY <br />TH I S AGREEMENT, made this _18th day of July , <br />1989, between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political subdivision <br />of the State of Florida, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, FL <br />32960 (COUNTY) and the BOARD OF TRUSTEES, INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY LAW LIBRARY, a special agency created by Chapter <br />57-1410, Laws of Florida, (the TRUSTEES), <br />W I T N E S S E T H <br />r' <br />WHEREAS, the TRUSTEES were created by Special Act <br />of the Florida Legislature, Chapter #57-1410, Laws of <br />Florida, to establish, operate, and maintain a law library <br />for the citizens of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, through the years the TRUST9ES have done <br />a fine job in establishing a law library for Indian River <br />County for funds raised, in part, through the collection of <br />special surcharges on filing fees; and <br />WHEREAS, COUNTY is now developing plans for a new <br />COUNTY courthouse, in which the law library will be located; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the increasing demands for space, books, <br />equipment, and other professional services make It desirable <br />that the COUNTY operate and maintain the law library; and <br />WHEREAS, the TRUSTEES have authority by Special <br />Act to -contract with the COUNTY for the COUNTY to operate <br />and maintain the law library; and - <br />WHEREAS, the TRUSTEES feel that such a contract <br />would be in the public Interest of the users of the law <br />library; and <br />WHEREAS, the COUNTY Is willing to undertake this <br />responsibility because the COUNTY believes that it will <br />benefit the public, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the <br />mutual covenants contained herein, as well as other good and <br />valuable consideration, the COUNTY and SELLER agree as <br />follows: <br />1.
