JUL 18 M <br />maintaining the law Ilbrary located presently in the Annex <br />to the Courthouse. The COUNTY will have complete authority <br />to purchase books, arrange books, establish hours of <br />operation, hire and supervise employees, and perform any <br />other acts consistent with sound law library management. <br />2. There shall be a Law Library Advisory <br />Committee composed of one County Commissioner or designee, <br />one Circuit or County Judge or designee, and one member of <br />the Indian River County Bar Association. "Each parent <br />organization shall choose Its own member. The Advisory <br />Committee shall establish its own meeting schedule and rules <br />and agendas. The Advisory Committee shall help the COUNTY <br />establish an annual budget for the operation of the law <br />library, give advice on law book or other equipment <br />purchases, and assist in developing reasonable rules and <br />regulations for the operation of the law Ilbrary. COUNTY <br />agrees that on any matter of importance to the law•Iibrary, <br />that it shall request advice from the Advisory Committee. <br />3. As a material consideration for this <br />agreement, COUNTY acknowledges that as long as this <br />operation contract is in force and effect, that the law <br />library will not be moved from the courthouse, and that any <br />new courthouse built in the County will have a law library <br />contained within it. <br />4.
