G 338 <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />Commissioner Eggert, to award Bid #89-86 for Rain <br />Shelters for Sandridge Golf Club to Hunley-Hubbard <br />Construction Co. upon final verification that their <br />bid of $34,455 still remains the low bid. <br />Administrator Chandler informed the Board that he went <br />through this bid with all those questions in mind, and believed <br />that any way you look at it, their bid was low and in no case <br />would it come close to the Walker bid. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />F. Bid #89-78 - Hydraulic Lift Table <br />The Board reviewed memo from General Services Director Dean: <br />DATE: JULY 11, 1989 <br />TO: HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: JAMES E. CHANDLER <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: H.T. "SONNY" DEAN, DIRECTOR <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERV2AS <br />SUBJECT: INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NUMBER 89-78 <br />HYDRAULIC LIFT TABLE <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The subject bid was properly advertised and six (6) invitations were <br />sent out to prospective vendors. Three bids were received on July 5, <br />1989. However, two of the three were no bid. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has reviewed the one bid to ascertain adherence to <br />specifications. Pifer Equipment Company was the responsible and <br />responsive bidder. <br />FUNDING: <br />Monies will come from the Golf Course Capital Outlay Fund which has a <br />budget of $3,500 for this line item. <br />8 <br />
