- M M <br />They feel that acquisition of lands should be considered in the <br />context of all the elements and not strictly under conservation. <br />They would also suggest that land acquisition should not be one <br />of the first remedies to consider, which seems to be the trend <br />throughout the plan. They are concerned about that. <br />Commissioner Bowman hoped that somewhere in this element is <br />the suggestion that we find a funding source for conservation <br />acquisitions. We need some funding source so that we can start a <br />fund and keep building it so that the money is available when the <br />opportunity arises.
