McCAIN <br />CAPITAL PROJECTS EN EER <br />DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: FINAL CHANGE ORDER AND PAY REQUEST <br />KING'S HIGHWAY AND LINDSEY ROAD CONTRACT #1 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. WW -87 -22 -DS <br />i <br />BACKGROUND <br />We have received all releases of liens from KeXtova Construction <br />Company's subcontractors, certification from the engineer, clearance <br />from the Department of Environmental Regulation, and as -built <br />drawings. We now wish to make final payment on this contract. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Due to adjustments in the quantities of materials used (see attached <br />change order), the contract price has been lowered. The original <br />contract price of $1,226,210.90 has been revised to a new contract <br />Price of $1,184,925.42; a difference of $41,285.48. The final pay <br />request is in the amount of $118,492.54. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve change order No. 1 and Kenova <br />Construction Company's final pay request. <br />52 <br />
