We could collect <br />$4,000-$5,000 more than if we do it now. <br />Director Baird didn't feel we could do that because the <br />letter of credit says "Upon the issuance of Certificate of <br />Occupancy we have the right to draw." <br />Attorney Vitunac confirmed that the impact fees rates::are at <br />what they were at the time the C.O. was issued. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously authorized <br />the Chairman to sign a draft to draw down $49,310 from <br />the River Run Development Corporation's Letter of Credit <br />with Southeast Bank, as recommended by OMB Director <br />Baird. <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH TOWN OF ORCHID - WATER, SEWER AND <br />EFFLUENT FRANCHISES <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/23/89: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: August 23, 1989 <br />RE: TOWN OF ORCHID FRANCHISE <br />The attached interlocal agreement grants the County an <br />exclusive water and sewer franchise and a nonexclusive <br />effluent re -use franchise within the Town of Orchid for the <br />next 40 years. <br />The Town will construct all water lines and sewer mains and <br />other facilities needed to connect at the County's water and <br />sewer facilities on the barrier island. The water service <br />will come from the former North Beach Water Co. plant and <br />the sewer from the soon- to -be -acquired Sea Oaks wastewater <br />treatment plant. <br />Staff recomends authorization for the Chairman of the Board <br />of County Commissioners to sign the attached interlocal <br />agreement. <br />30 <br />
