Budget Amendment #002 - Video Equipment for Circuit Judges <br />The Board reviewed memo from the OMB Director: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: October 4, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: BUDGET AMENDMENT 002 - <br />VIDEO EQUIPMENT FOR <br />CIRCUIT JUDGES IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $3,575.00 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Judge Vocelle has requested the Board of County Commissioners <br />purchase a video system for Courtroom D at a cost of $3,575.00. The <br />video system will be used to do first appearances and will save <br />transporting prisoners from the jail to the courthouse. Currently we <br />have a video system which is used between Courtroom A and B. It is <br />not practical to transport the now existing video system to the <br />Courthouse annex where Courtroom D is located. <br />has been requested we used Court Facility contingencies to <br />purchase the video system. The contingency balance is $11,859.00. <br />$ <br />1ECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve budget <br />=_amendment 002 and authorize the judges to purchase the video <br />-equipment from McMaster Antenna Systems. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved Budget <br />Amendment #002 for the video equipment for the Circuit <br />Judges as recommended by staff. <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Joseph A.
