MONDAY9JJULY 4th 1932. <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met in the office of the <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court at Vero Beach, in the County of Indian River, on this 4th day <br />of July, 1932, and the following County Commissioners were present: Albert 0. Helseth, <br />Chairman. Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk amd W. R. Duncan, Bounty Assessor of <br />taxes. A quorum of the Board not being present, the Board adjourned until Tuesday, <br />July 5th 1932 at 10 o'clock A.M. <br />ATTER : , Chairman <br />._. 10 <br />- -.G l.e_r-k. <br />---------------------------------------------- ------ <br />TUESDAY t JULY 5th 1932. <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met in the office of the <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court at Vero Beach, in the County of Indian River on this 5th day <br />of July 19329 and the following members of the County Commissioners were present: Albert <br />0, Helseth, Chairman; J. D. Yongue; J. W. LaBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton and Eli C. Walker. <br />Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk amd W. R. Duncan, County Assessor of Taxes. <br />The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. <br />It was ordered that Inspectors and Clerks of election and Deputy Sheriff at the <br />polls be paid as follows, f or the respective presincts: Precincts # 1--2--3--4--5--6 <br />and 89$3.00 each and Precinct #7 $2.00 each. <br />It was ordered that Tax sale certificate 46.492 sale of July 1928, be sold to A. <br />Rass for the sum of $15.86. <br />The Tax Assessor filed his semi-annual report of commissions and fees received, <br />which is as follows: <br />REPORT OF TAX .ASS SSOR, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. <br />for the six months ending June 30th 1932. <br />FEES AND - COHMISS IONS <br />COLLECTED: <br />C ssions <br />received <br />from State acet. <br />1929 roll ................$ <br />41.40 <br />Commissions <br />received <br />from State acct. <br />1931 roll....*.****** . *000213.10 <br />Commissions <br />received <br />from County acct. <br />1930 roll............... <br />1000.00 <br />Commissions <br />received <br />from County acct. <br />1931 roll ............... <br />427.52 <br />TOTAL RECEIPT'S FOR SIX MONTHS ENDING June 30th <br />1932 ...... 61,682.03 <br />EXPENSES: <br />Office expense, stationery etc ................................. 49.65 <br />Dorothy Gifford ................................................ 300.00 <br />AnneFclsthoff................................................... 170.00 <br />Edith Stroud .................................................... 28.00 <br />Hazel Boyd ..................................................... 34.00 <br />Traveling expense, gas and oil etc ...... ....................... 86.75 <br />TOTAL EXPENSE SIX MONTHS ENDING June 30th 1932...... 668.40 <br />NET RECEIPTS FOR SIX MONTHS ENDING June 30th 1932... 3.6 <br />Which report was properly sworn to before biles Warren, Clerk Circuit Court on the <br />2nd dey of July, 1932. <br />On account of the condition of the finances of the County, it Vas deemed advisable <br />to revise the amounts being paid to paupers by the County, and after careful considera- <br />tion the following amounts were ordered paid to the respective persons until the <br />order of this Board: <br />William Yates..*6...$10.00 per month <br />Mrs L.J.Holland..... 15.00 <br />Jessie Yates........ 20.00 <br />R.
