Tuesday, November 28, 1989 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />November 28, 1989, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Gary C. <br />Wheeler, Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Don <br />C. Scurlock, Jr. Absent was Carolyn K. Eggert, Vice Chairman, <br />who was in Germany on vacation. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to <br />the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; <br />and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bowman led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Wheeler asked that a report on RFP's received for <br />the position of Construction Manager be added under the <br />Administrator's matters as Item 8A. <br />Commissioner Scurlock wished to add as Item 8B under the <br />Administrator's matters final payment on Sandridge Golf Club rain <br />shelters and also wished to have a Proclamation on Career <br />Assistance Day added to the Consent Agenda as Item 5D. <br />Administrator Chandler informed the Board that he wished to <br />have Item 9H(2) regarding two R.O. wells for the North Beach <br />Water Plant pulled from today's Agenda. <br />NOV 28 iUW <br />EQGK 78 •EnE 4 58 <br />
