BOOK /8 F E 561 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89- 152 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />RELATING TO QUORUM OF THE MARINE <br />ADVISORY NARROWS WATERSHED ACTION <br />COMMITTEE. <br />WHEREAS, the Marine Advisory Narrows Watershed <br />Action Committee has a broad cross-sectional representation <br />in its committee makeup; and <br />WHEREAS, the present quorum is eight people or a <br />majority of the Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, it is desirable to conduct business if <br />even though fewer than eight members of this broad <br />cross-sectional representation are at any one meeting, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by. the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County that action may <br />be takenif a quorum of five members is present at any <br />meeting of the Marine Advisory Narrows Watershed Action <br />Committee. <br />This resolution was offered by Bird <br />and <br />seconded by Scurlock , and upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was 5 to 0 <br />The motion was declared carried by Chairman <br />Wheeler this 5th day of December , 1989. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />ATTEST: <br />artonClerk <br />56 <br />Gary C,rNe et -TM -TT -man <br />
