the bridge on 26th Street near 16th Avenue in the city. We had <br />hoped that we could save some time by using that contractor for <br />the replacement of those two bridges, but we found it would take <br />45-60 days for the design phase for the bridges, and we would be <br />talking about perhaps 4 months to get those bridges completed and <br />Oslo Road opened. As a result, staff's recommendation is to <br />continue as we originally recommended to the Commission to go <br />through the normal bidding process and do that work in the summer. <br />RECONCILIATION CHANGE ORDER #3 AND FINAL PAY REQUEST - GOLDEN <br />SANDS PARK DUNE WALKOVER IMPROVEMENTS <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 11/30/89: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Director <br />FROM: Michelle A. centre, CET <br />Civil Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Reconciliation Change Order and Final Pay Request <br />from The Masters Group for Golden Sands Park Dune <br />Walkover Improvements <br />DATE: November 30, 1989 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The construction of the Golden Sands Dune Walkover Improvements <br />have been completed by The Masters Group, Inc. the project has <br />been accepted by the County Engineering Department. <br />The final contract price has been increased by $121.00. This is <br />due to labor costs that were not included in Change Order #1. <br />The contractor is requesting final payment in the amount of <br />$1,768.00. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends approval of the change order #3 to reconcile the <br />contract and final payment to The Masters Group, Inc., in the <br />amount of $1,768.00. Funding is from Fund #310-143-512-066.51, <br />Golden Sands Park Account. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />staff's recommendation as set out in the above memo. <br />CHANGE ORDER #3 IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />DEC 12 1989 <br />47 <br />BOOK 78 FAGE. 6n. <br />
