Mascola,SPO Manager <br />Division of Purchasing <br />SUET: IRC BID#90-12/EMBANKMENT MATERIAL <br />BAICKGROUND: <br />The Subject Bid for Embankment Material. was properly advertised <br />and Ten (10) Invitations to bid were sent out. On Nov. 29, 1989 <br />bids were received. Three (3) vendors submitted proposals for the <br />c aarodity. <br />• ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has reviewed the submittal to ascertain adherence to <br />• specifications. Dennis L. Smith was the low responsible <br />bidr7Pr that met all requirements. Blackhawk was the lowest bid, <br />but due to all prices being picked up, 57 miles round trip to <br />Blackhawk •wuuid.increase time & gas and increase the price <br />way beyond D. L.
