JAN 2 1990 - <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH LLOYD 8 ASSOCIATES FOR ADDITIONAL <br />ENGINEERING/SURVEYING SERVICES - MISCELLANEOUS INTERSECTIONS, <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 12/14/89: <br />TO: James E. Chandler, <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P.E., <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Amendment for Additional Professional Engineering/ <br />Surveying Services - Miscellaneous Intersections <br />Phase III - LLoyd & Assoc, Inc. <br />REFERENCE LETTER: Bill Myers to Jim Davis dated 11-21-89 <br />DATE: December 14, 1989 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On November 7, 1989 during the regularly scheduled meeting <br />of the Board of County Commissioners, the Board authorized <br />the attached amendment to provide for Engineering Services <br />to extend the left turn lane at 41st Street/43rd Avenue <br />easterly 500' to the driveway of the Sheriff's Complex and <br />Jail. The attached amendment provides for this additional <br />service, and modifies insurance requirements as approved by <br />the County's Risk Manager. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends that the Board approve the amendment and <br />authorize the Chairman's signature. <br />Funding to be from 105-214 Gifford Road Improvement Fund. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the First Amendment to Professional Engineering <br />Services Agreement for Phase III Miscellaneous <br />Intersection Improvements, as recommended by staff. <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE -CLERK TO <br />THE BOARD <br />52 <br />
