RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of <br />county Commissioners authorize a change order to the Sixth Avenue <br />contract to eliminate the last package plant in the North Beach <br />region. The cost of construction is not to exceed $10,000.00, and <br />working time not to exceed five calendar days. The funding for this <br />project is to come from Account No. 472-000-169-078-00. <br />Commissioner Scurlock understood that we had Ted Myers' <br />prices on the 6th Avenue project, which was a bid project, and <br />that this recommendation is to extend the unit prices of that <br />project to this one. <br />Director Pinto explained that on the Ted Myers' project, we <br />got the advantage of volume prices because of the large <br />quantities ordered. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />staff's recommendation as set out in the above memo, <br />emphasizing that the cost of construction is not to <br />exceed $10,000. <br />CHANGE ORDER WILL BE PLACED ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO <br />THE BOARD WHEN PROPERLY EXECUTED AND RECEIVED <br />3UGK i CJ rA'UL <br />
