F. Approval of Out -of -State Travel <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />out-of-state travel for Commissioners and appropriate <br />staff to attend NACo 1990 Legislative Conference, March <br />17-20, in Washington, D.C. <br />G. IRC Bid 90-28, Small Tractor <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 1/29/90: <br />DATE: JANUARY 29, 1990 <br />TO: HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: JAMES E. CHANDLER <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: H.T. "SONNY" DEAN, DIRECTOR <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVIQ <br />SUBJECT: INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID 90-28 - SMALL TRACTOR <br />At the regular meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 1990, the Board of <br />County Commissioners approved staff's recommendation to award the <br />bid for a 87 HP tractor to Linder Industrial Machine Company. An <br />error was made in staff's memorandum in that Linder did not bid on <br />the small tractor. Neff Machinery was the low bidder instead. <br />Since Linder did not bid and Neff was the low bidder, it is <br />requested that the Board amend their motion for the minutes to <br />indicate "Neff Machinery" as being the successful bidder. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously authorized <br />staff to amend the Motion in the Minutes of the Regular <br />Meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of January <br />9, 1990, to reflect the correction that Neff Machinery <br />was the successful bidder on the small tractor, instead <br />of Linder Industrial Machine Company. <br />5 <br />FEB 6 1990 POOK 10 <br />
