r <br />Assistant County Attorney Will Collins explained that this <br />is one of the dilapidated homes on Oslo Road that was demolished <br />a year ago. <br />Commissioner Scurlock pointed out that the Landfill is an <br />enterprise fund, and he didn't feel we want to subsidize these <br />landfill fees. <br />Attorney Collins advised that the Landfill fees already have <br />been paid out of the Road & Bridge account, and Director Davis <br />emphasized that the transportation fund is really getting hit in <br />this case. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />acceptance of the owner's/seller's proposal to release <br />the County lien which now amounts to $3,583.08, <br />including interest, through January 30, 1990, for the <br />amount of $1,500, as recommended by Attorney Collins. <br />RELEASE OF LIEN IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE <br />REQUEST TO FILL VACANT LAWYER POSITION CAUSED BY MATERNITY LEAVE <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 1/31/90: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Charles P. Vitunac - County Attorney <br />DATE: January 31, 1990 <br />RE: FILLING VACANT LAWYER POSITION CAUSED BY <br />MATERNITY LEAVE <br />Assistant County Attorney Sharon Brennan has given notice <br />that she would like to take the six months maternity leave <br />provided by the Personnel Rules and Regulations. (See <br />attached memo.) She would like to begin this leave of <br />86 <br />1990, BOOK 1 � P.�.14 �4� <br />
