ANALYSIS: <br />All required improvements, with the exception of sidewalks, have <br />been constructed by the developer and have been inspected and <br />deemed acceptable by the Public works Department and the Utilities <br />Department. The developer is contracting to construct the <br />required sidewalks and is posting security to guarantee the <br />contract. Also, the developer is warranting all publically <br />dedicated subdivision improvements and is posting security to <br />guarantee the warranty. The project engineer has submitted a <br />certified cost estimate covering the _sidewalks to be constructed <br />and cost basis for the warranty maintenance agreement. The'County <br />Attorney's office has reviewed and approved the submitted contract <br />for construction of required improvements, warranty maintenance <br />agreement, and the letters of credit which guarantee the contract <br />and warranty maintenance agreement. <br />All applicable requirements regarding final plat approval have <br />been satisfied. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends thatihe Board of County Commissioners grant final <br />plat approval for Tall Pines Subdivision, authorize the Chairman <br />to execute the submitted contract for construction of the required <br />improvements, and accept the warranty maintenance agreement and <br />both letters of credit. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously granted Final <br />Plat Approval to Tall Pines Subdivision; authorized <br />the Chairman to execute the Contract for Construction <br />of Required Improvements; and accepted the Warranty <br />Maintenance Agreement and both Letters of Credit. <br />COPY OF SAID DOCUMENTS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE <br />J. Out -of -County Travel for Commissioner Wheeler, appropriate <br />staff, and Judges <br />Chairman Eggert noted that there is no backup on this item, <br />and she asked Commissioner Wheeler if she understood the costs on <br />this will be the dost of the plane, lunches, etc. <br />Commissioner Wheeler advised that there should not be any <br />costs other than fuel, which would be about $30/40. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock,, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved out - <br />BOOK <br />FED 1603 1990 <br />
