Tuesday, March 6, 1990 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 6, 1990, <br />at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman; Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr.; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to <br />the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; and <br />Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Jerry Sweat of Asbury United Methodist Church gave <br />the invocation, and Attorney Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert announced the withdrawal of Item 8-A-3 -- <br />Requests for Federal Grant Funds through the -Anti -Drug Abuse Act <br />of 1988. <br />Commissioner Bird asked that Item 10-D be moved up on the <br />Agenda and taken right after the Consent Agenda. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />the withdrawal and the advancement of the above items. <br />BOOK <br />MAR 6199 <br />
