PROCLAMATION <br /> DESIGNATING SEPTEMBER 16-20, 2013 AS INDUSTRY APPRECIATION WEEK <br /> IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br /> WHEREAS, business and industry in Indian River County is increasingly vital to the <br /> health of our community; and <br /> WHEREAS, while we continue to struggle with the current economic conditions, the <br /> sustainability of Indian River County's existing industries is key to a prosperous future; and <br /> WHEREAS, the future expansion of those industries will account for the majority of <br /> new high-wage and high-skill jobs created in our county; and <br /> WHEREAS, our existing industries help sustain the quality of life and a solid tax <br /> base in Indian River County; and <br /> WHEREAS, public awareness of the contributions made by industry is essential to <br /> the maintenance of good community-industry relationships; and <br /> WHEREAS, all residents are encouraged to take time to salute Indian River County <br /> industries, and their employees, for the contributions they make in our community. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the week of September 16 <br /> through September 20, 2013 be designated as INDUSTRY APPRECIATION WEEK in <br /> Indian River County. <br /> Adopted this 17th day of September, 2013. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br /> �V C o eph .
