Statutes, in that a sanitary nuisance was present due to the conditions on the property <br />harboring the breeding of flies, mosquitoes, or other arthropods capable of transmitting <br />diseases, directly or indirectly to humans. This case was brought before the December <br />5, 2013, ECHB and an Order was entered against the Respondent requiring the property <br />to be cleaned up, and ordering payment of a Civil Penalty in the amount of $2,500.00. A <br />suspended Civil Penalty in the amount of $20,000.00 was also entered if the debris <br />removal ordered was not completed within sixty (60) days from the date of entry of the <br />Order. Since the December 5, 2013, ECHB, Gaddis Capital Corp. has appointed a local <br />representative, Mr. Joe Paladin, to assist with the clean-up of the property. The <br />Department has met with Mr. Paladin to formulate a game plan. The Department has <br />also met with the Code Enforcement Board and Community Development officials to <br />determine how both Enforcement Boards may be able to follow-up with the owner of this <br />property to ensure compliance. Work is ongoing to clean up the property pursuant to the <br />Environmental Control Hearing Board's Order entered in December 30, 2013. Case No. <br />515-13. <br />3. Environmental Health staff continues to work with Santosh International, Inc., <br />Respondents. Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) issued the permit for the <br />sewer connection design on February 24, 2014. Partial payments of $1,785.00 of <br />$2,500.00 fine collected. Case No. 479-10 <br />4. Respondents, Dale and Gail Savage, have owned real property located at 5205 94th <br />Lane, Sebastian, Florida, 32958. The co -Respondent is Ricky Jackson who is <br />responsible for the fine. Partial payment, $1,500.00 of $2,500 fine collected. Case No. <br />512-13 <br />5. The Environmental Health Staff have continued to work with the County Attorney's office <br />regarding revisions to the Grease Interceptor Ordinance. Several meetings have taken <br />place during the second quarter of fiscal year 2012-2013 between the Environmental <br />Health Staff, the County Attorney and the Building Department in an effort to finalize a <br />draft of the Ordinance for approval by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />6. Initiated actions to fill the Attorney Representative position on the ECHB. <br />7.
