Mascola, CPO Manager <br />tr Division of Purchasing <br />SUBJ: IRC BID #90-59 Concrete Saw <br />On request from the Traffic Engineering Department the bid for the Concrete <br />Saw was properly advertised and Thirteen (13) Invitations to Bid were <br />sent out. On March 21, 1990 bids were received. Five (5) vendors submitted <br />proposals for the commodity. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />'Staff has reviewed the submittal to ascertain adherence to specifications. <br />Tool Industrial Supply was the low bidder that net all requirements. <br />FUNDING: <br />Monies for this project will come from Traffic Engineering Other Machine <br />Equigrnnt, which has a budget of $7,500.00. <br />Staff recommends the Award of a Fixed Contract for $4,943.00 to the low <br />bidder, Tool Industrial Supply for the subject project. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously awarded <br />Bid #90-59 for a Concrete Saw to the low bidder, <br />Tool Industrial Supply, in the amount of $4,943, <br />and approved a Fixed Contract with Tool Industrial <br />Supply for same, as recommended by staff per the <br />following Bid Tabulation: <br />10 <br />
