buffer between the Dodgertown and City properties. <br /> MOTION WAS MADE by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br /> Commissioner Solari, to authorize staff to: (1) engage in negotiations <br /> with the City of Vero Beach (the City) for the purpose of granting its <br /> request to release and discharge the County's deed restrictions on a <br /> parcel of land known as the Dodgertown Golf Course Property, (2) <br /> look into the County's legal and bond issues relative to the City's <br /> request, with the caveat to resolve any right-of-way issues associated <br /> with 43rd Avenue and Aviation Boulevard; and (3) consider a <br /> possible future need for a buffer between the Dodgertown property <br /> and the City's property. <br /> Assistant City Attorney Peggy Lyon agreed that County and City <br /> staffs could negotiate in good faith. <br /> John Kistler, 2340 Water Oak Court SW, President Taxpayers <br /> Association (TPA) of Indian River County, advocated that the <br /> County release and discharge the deed restrictions on the property. <br /> The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 1:54 3.
