Brown <br />Director, Office of Manent & Budget <br />Date: September 17, 2014 <br />Subject: Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 026 <br />Description and Conditions <br />The attached budget amendment appropriates funding necessary for the following: <br />1. On August 19, 2014, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Sheriff's use of <br />Criminal and Sex Offender Registrant Fees to purchase several pieces of equipment. The <br />attached entry appropriates funding in the amount of $20,500. <br />2. On September 9, 2014, the Board of County Commissioners approved Work Order # 13 with <br />CDM Smith for Noise Monitoring and Quiet Zone Index Calculations. The attached entry <br />appropriates funding in the amount of $ 38,740 from Transportation Fund/Cash Forward -Oct <br />3. 'Historic Dodgertown's lease runs May 1St of each year to April 30 of the following year. Due to <br />the timing difference of the county's fiscal year, Oct 1st thru September 30th, the attached entry <br />"rolls' the previous year's balance of tourism promotion funds to the current year. <br />4. The SHIP Program has expended more down payment/closing costs loans and rehab loans <br />than anticipated. The attached entry appropriates funding in the amount of $100,000 from <br />SHIP/Cash Forward -Oct 1st <br />5. Petition Paving Assessments were received in the Transportation Fund and need to be <br />transferred to the Secondary Roads Fund which were the original source of project funds. The <br />attached entry transfers $275,000. <br />6. The Florida Rural legal Services has expended more than anticipated. The attached entry <br />appropriates $3,000 from Additional Court Costs/Cash Forward -Oct 1St <br />7. On September 16, 2014, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Sheriffs request <br />to purchase capital improvement projects totaling $47,199. The attached entry appropriates <br />funding from Optional Sales Tax/Sheriff-Detention Center. <br />102 <br />
