PROCLAMATION 18 <br />HONORING PASTOR, ETHEL MAE BROWN <br />WHEREAS, Ethel Mae Brown has been a resident of the City of Vero Beach, Indian River <br />County, Florida for more than 60 years; and <br />WHEREAS, Ethel Mae Brown was married to the late Jesse Brown and is the mother of <br />seven children. Ethel Mae promised her life to the Lord as his servant after she and Missionaries <br />prayed for over three years for her then three year old comatose daughter; and <br />WHEREAS, Ethel Mae Brown, has for more than 47 years ministered to the Vero Beach <br />Congregation of the Church of God Tabernacle True Holiness, which is located at 3090 41st Street <br />in Gifford; and <br />WHEREAS, The Church of God Tabernacle True Holiness is directed by Bishop Walter H. <br />Richardson. The church is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and serves communities in Miami - <br />Dade, Palm Beach and Indian River Counties and in Valdosta, Georgia, through sister <br />congregations; and <br />WHEREAS, on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. Mrs. Ethel Mae Brown will be <br />honored at a sit down luncheon with Dignitaries, Congregations, sponsors, and dear friends at the <br />Gifford Community Center. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board recognizes the 87 <br />year life and accomplishments of Ethel Mae Brown, and thanks her for her efforts on behalf of <br />Indian River County. <br />Adopted this 23day of September, 2014. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, <br />.INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />64_ <br />Peter D.
