ti <br />PROCLAMATION <br />HONORING BARBARA GRASS ON HER RETIREMENT FROM <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES/ FIRE RESCUE <br />WHEREAS, Barbara Grass has retired from Indian River County Fire Rescue effective <br />September 4, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, Barbara Grass has been employed with Indian River County since December 28, <br />1999. On August 29, 2003, she was promoted to EMS Lieutenant with Indian River County <br />Emergency Medical Services. After the EMS and Fire consolidation in October 2005, she was <br />re -assigned to Fire Medic and continued in this capacity until her retirement; and <br />WHEREAS, Barbara Grass has served this County and the Public with distinction and <br />selflessness. During her fourteen years of service, she was dedicated and her work was greatly <br />appreciated by the employer, citizens, and co-workers alike; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board applauds <br />Barbara Grass' efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board wishes to express their <br />appreciation for the dedicated service she has given to Indian River County for the last <br />fourteen years; and <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff extend <br />heartfelt wishes for success in her future endeavors. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of September 2014. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />.b <br />Peter D.
